A very kawaii character that is always smiling 2. Hidden psychoticness underneath 3. An opportunity to carry a sword that doesn't require fishing line to hold it in place. 4. Did I mention cute? Drawbacks: 1. The kawaiiness factor naturally lends itself to glomping 2. Streamlined Souchan is actually slower than full hakama Souchan with the design 3. I cannot seem to tie hakama right Summoning: You can request me to wear this costume if you....actually this one will have to wait a little while.... Story: This costume first came about back at Anime Central when I first discovered that Chris and Souchan are alot alike in many ways. And then of course, Akon rolls around and all I hear is "You must be Souchan!" "You must be Souchan!" So I planned to get it done for AX. Getting the kimono done I thought would be easy, until I messed up the sleeves....twice but at least I got it right on the third try. And the hakama! I had to wait for Allie to return from Japan to translate the Japanese webpage with the recipe for hakama, but after that, it was pleated nightmares. Fortunately I managed to get it all done and together, and my hair decided to grow out to the perfect length just in time for AX.
